Campout Information

Troop 262 believes that spending time in nature and learning essential skills are vital to Scouting and life experience.

Campout dates can be found on the Troop calender located on the Home Page. Many of the regular advancement activities, service projects, and scout mentorship happen at our weekend campouts.

Weekend campouts happen 7 or 8 times during the school year (about once per month), with a week long summer camp experience at Many Point Scout Camp each summer at the end of July. Adult guardians are welcome at all campouts, but must be registered with the Troop and complete Youth Protection Training.

In addition, Troop 262 has High Adventure trips periodicially for scouts 14 and older. Trips in the past have been BWCA trips, Isle Royale hiking trips, Philmont Scout Ranch hiking trips, and many others.  Come to a Parents meeting to learn about upcoming trips and adventures.
