History of Troop 262

Founded in 1945

With the signature of Harry Truman,

Honorary President of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 262 of Oak Grove Lutheran Church received its first charter.

In 1995, with our Charter renewal, we reach the 50 year milestone.

Since Troop 262 was founded, 86 boys have attained the rank of Eagle.
